looks like a Californian kingsnake, a colubrid, constrictor not poisonous. A non British species, I'll have it if you put it in a box.

Looks like a black and yellow tree snake to me All I know is if I droped across it one of two things would happen 1 it would be dead or 2 I would be going in the opposite direction---most likely 2

Our daughter and her boyfriend are in Carcassonne for a few days, let's hope she doesn't come across anything like that, she's bad enough with small spiders

A few years back she phoned us from the flat one night saying there was a spider on top of the duvet, could we come and catch it?oh:

"No" was the answer to that one, it would be a 70 mile round trip to remove the damn thing...........she spent the night sleeping on the settee instead of trying to get rid of it

Not an adder, eye pupils are round in the picture, they are slitted in an adder.

Its a European grass snake, harmless, unless your a mouse, a frog or very small bird
