We'll be staying home, which IMO is the best place to be on bank Hols. I'm looking forward to it, (spent 48 nights in the Hymer so far this year) all the kids are home so i should have help in the garden and a few giggles.

Are you away in the van? or at home?

We'll be at home grooming the dogs and emptying the M/H ready for it to go down the road as a part ex on OUR new to us Burstner, next Friday. ::bigsmile:
I'm always up around about 4-5 am, dogs won't sleep when it starts to get light.

Is it a bank holiday this weekend?

I have trouble with these now...

In my world it is a holiday weekend all the time. :ROFLMAO:

Since April 1846 but have always camped.
It's a bank holiday so will be staying at home as we can't deal with bank holiday crowds. Although we have just got back from a very pleasant week in Masham and finally managed a tour of the Black Sheep Brewery.

This afternoon we go over to Brum to see Mark Knopfler in concert at LG arena, overnight in hotel in Brum. Back tomorrow to load up my MX5 then off to Curborough sprint course for my first competition day on Sunday, probably back sometime Sunday evening but if the weather's not too bad may stay over for an extra night.

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
We don't know yet. Ralph has a job Saturday morning , so if we do it will be Sat and Sun Night only. No jobs to catch up on at home. Just a bit of ironing that i'm going to do this morning. We won't be taking any of the kids as they all have plans.
So even if its going to chuck it down we shall probably find a CCC rally to go on or something.
Its better if its bad weather it keeps all the fair weather folk off the roads :ROFLMAO::winky:

I have always avoided the Bank Holiday rush but this weekend we are off to Cornwall because the grand-sprogs are off for the week, pray for me everyone.

On the way home I might invade Old Mo and Wildman and even take a detour up into Wales to annoy Jim, Sherriff and Champers, but I'll probably head straight for the New Forest for the last of the week...........Griff

.........I pray for fair weather and safe passages for you all.........:thumb:

Hi all,
Have to stay at home - bummers (in one sense).

We are expecting our second Grandchild any minute now, had first only six weeks ago. So when I suggested we go away for the weekend the Wife looked at me (with that 'look' and under breath grrr only an expectant Grandmother could do) and I thought,,,,, agh, best get the gardening kit out.:roflmto:

As a bartering chip she did say "we can go away as long as it's less than 1/2hr away". I hastily checked out some sites in Brean, Berrow and Burham to see availability (all within 1/2hr) and everywhere is booked to the rafters...... So, just got the shears out and in the garden I go..... The dog and me.

Just walked past the Wife who is 'camped out' next to the phone.:ROFLMAO:

Anyway, to anyone lucky enough to get away - have a great time.

Regards,

Trikeman. :winky:
