Grey waste ( dare i ? ) (1 Viewer)

Its ok im not going to start another row. The tap on my grey waste tank only opens half the diameter of the pipe and therefore takes ages to empty all over the roads (obviously i mean the drain ) .Does anyone know of a different type of drain off tap? Ive looked through my plumbing catalog but no joy.Also how often do you all clean your water tank through with some sort of sterilising agent? Cheers Dave.

every so often hubby cleans fresh and grey tanks with Sodium Hyporchlorite Tablets, advised by the local Anglian water board guy, we havnt died yet !!

40 years and 8 vans and I have never cleaned a water tank and I put mud in mine twice a year for fun...

Fit as a butcher's dog.

Is the waste valve partially blocked or is it simply the wrong size ?

I'd strip it down and check before replacing if you haven't already done that.

Mine is slow but seems no slower than others I've seen. It opens the standard 45 degrees via the remote turn handle mechanism.

I have also fitted a 16/22mm hose tail so that I can add some hose pipe and drain it once we get back home as the ground drain is 5m away from the closest point.

My friend is running as a warden.

Been told to empty waist water on to field/grass no problem.

Why do so meny people moan about this sort of wast dumping its only water from shower or sink.. At end of the day. We we have water shortidge we are told to use water from other soucers.

Some people have short memories..
