Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Myself mrs Vlad and 2 girls 8 and 6 were wondering if there are any other funsters who would like a family meet!
Just testing the water and trying to gauge opinion,of course extended families would count so grab a grand kid or niece or nephew and put the F into Fun.Just think swingball, waterbombs, singing and dancing,BBQ,games etc.
Sound like a good idea? Thoughts welcome! :thumb:

Good idea.
If anyone needs them, I can lend them a grandrunt or two.

Can I borrow any kiddies as I've not been blessed with any, failing that I'd have to play the swingball, water bombs and games and that's unfair ::bigsmile:

Yes we are interested but would have to be in school holidays as I work in a school as well as having my children in Primary school so none of us can take term time holidays!

we think it's a great idea we have 6 kids so would be great as most of the meets we been to so far our kids have had no one to make friends with :-(.
I also think if there's a few people with kids at meets it would be good to place us all together like a family area so we not to worried about disturbing to many funsters as we're constantly on pins about people not liking kids.

We would be interested if not too far to drive. We'd won't have any kids with us though, except the one big kid I live with :ROFLMAO: can we still come?

I have two sets of twins
2 girls at 15 this year and a boy and a girl at 14 this year
I asked them when I bought my motorhome if I got a big motorhome are they interested in coming away with us, the answer was no, so i bought my little 2 berth van for me and the misses only, if they where younger I would have been interested but they are not :roflmto:

VLAD,

Ermm I wasn't moaning about holidays, just stating a fact that I can't have term time holiday like most people can & yes it is a proper job although I'm not a teacher just a lowly business manager who chooses work in a school so I can be home in the holidays to look after my children so there !!!

I didn't think you were moaning about holidays,it just made me wonder when else ,other than holiday time or a weekend, would a family weekend take place :winky:
In fact I would love to have as many holidays as my kids but alas I'm just a overworked construction worker.Heres a thought for some of your workmates ,as they get older most if not all will loose their class! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You posh Rutland types have different holidays from us in Derbyshire anyway!
We can do most weekends with notice to be fair so I guess we need to agree where is mutually acceptable to meet and throw a few dates into the pot.

Maybe even one meet up north & one down south depending on where everyone is located ?

Good idea, suggestions everyone!

My kids like Searles at Hunstanton, lots to do and they accomodate rallies!
However I've an open mind,as said just gauging opinion and welcome all thoughts.
I remember as a kid going to Derbyshire and loving the Matlock area,Infact a field by a lake or river anywhere would make for a good weekend.
Any offers of help organising anything that comes of this would also be appreciated as I know not everyone likes the same things.
