I know that this is neither a UK touring topic, nor Continental, but I've got to post it somewhere.


My daughter and two of her nursey friends want to attend a wedding in Clane, Co Kildare, Eire in October and, naturally enough, want to borrow the MH. But I can’t find much on the web about caravan sites in the republic. I wouldn't really want them to wild camp. Can anyone help please? Any advice, as always, gratefully received.

You'll probably find that it would be cheaper for them to fly and use B&B/hotel instead - the cost of the ferry alone will be well over £200!!! Camp sites aren't cheap either and have you checked out the cost of insurance for them too as I doubt if that will be cheap either.

As for letting them use your pride and joy anyway - you must be mad! NO ONE gets to use 'our' baby but us!!!
