Hi everyone I am thinking about getting a tv and aerial for the van. Mostly travel in the Uk with the occasional foray into France and Germany. We are looking for recommendations for a suitable system and a mobile company to install the equipment. Ant suggestions would be gratefully received.

If you only want it to work in the UK then a directional aerial such as the Status will work fine on terrestrial digital, giving you loads of channels (nothing worth watching on any of them of course).

If you want it to get UK stations abroad then you will need a satellite system, which will either cost a bomb, or take ages to set up, and there still won't be anything worth watching.

For many motorhomers it is a sort of occupational therapy, and seen as a great challenge, for example to receive Eastenders in Gibralter with a 1m dish. Once its working they usually leave it on so others can see what they've done, and then go to the bar:ROFLMAO:

Thanks seems sensible.

Just want the the oprion to watch tv in the uk. If it is a hassle to watch tv abroad then not bothered.
