Help with recording from radio please! (1 Viewer)

We had a bit on the local radio on Monday about the Big Busk that we performed at on Saturday and I would love to be able to keep the clips.

I've downloaded Audacity but I can't get it to work. Are there any lovely computer buffs that could do it for me please?

The clips are at about 39 minutes and 45 minutes on this show:

I had to get some obscure music from youtube that my son wanted for his wedding, which is unobtainable now. The way I did it was to capture the video using LiteCam and then convert the audio to an mp3 file to burn on a cd. Took ages and thats for 5mins length. Hopefully someone has a better way.

Thanks for your help - I was also thinking along the lines of using my Zoom Videocamera on sound only but then I'd have to upload it to Youtube (I think) to be able to share it and there might be copyright issues.

Its superb...you can download any BBC Radio show that's still in the iPlayer database

If you had a suitable lead and an old fashioned tape/cassette recorder then no problem.

Click the "BBC Radio "world" type icon, then click the words "choose program" just above it.
Go to the bottom of the page, "Radio programmes A-Z" ... click that, choose letter C, and the one you want is on 2nd page. Click that, then the available shows will slowly be listed in the main window. Highlight the one for 8th April, then click "Download"

Nope just getting little dots instead of the programme list.

Wondered whether it's because I disabled Java when there was a scare earlier in the year but I've enabled it and it makes no difference.
