Worth doing ? Soon to be the owner of a new Autotrail Tracker RB. It has the longest overhang we have ever owned and is a Fiat 4250 kg chassis.I intend to fit a tow bar with PWS to tow a sailing dinghy or pull a motorbike trailer or a towball bike carrier (Thule).I should name her Thunderbird 2 .
My main thoughts are it would help with ferry ramps by raising the rear height and maybe help with the stability when towing ?
Thinking of a company called Air Ride for about £600

Insurance issues

Another thought ,do insurance companies have a issue with people fitting a after market air suspension giving rise to a alteration to manufacturers specifications ?

Double check with PWS that the towbar is type approved. I know he has type approval on some for Autotrails, the RB may be one.

We had air ride fitted to a Lunar 780, some years back now, but the ride stability was fantastic. Again it also had a large rear overhang.

Dont know about the insurance reference, although I think it was declared with other extras.

Mojo,

If they don't have a type approved bar for yours, you can still have one of their non approved ones for a cycle rack.
