anyone spending a day at this show ?

middle step daughter has nagged me for long enough now so I've agreed to go with her on Saturday.....car needs a good run anyway.

she tells me she is looking for a small camper and needs advise, so how could i refuse.

to be honest i dont think anything will come of it, but it,s a day out somewhere different. .

We had planned to visit sometime over the weekend but as the snow is still falling the showground could be like a mudbath.
I gather there are is a vast selection of stands as some idiot arranged the Harrogate meet to clash with Newark, how sensible is that.
Depends on the weather but if it doesn't improve or even stay fair we will be giving it a miss. Do any funsters live in Harrogate to give us an update on the state of the showground area?
If you manage to go please give us all some feedback, enjoy.

Out and About Live have been giving tickets away for a number of weeks now.
This is possibly an indication of the interest shown by the public, none.

could be !

the northern show died a death when Warners fell out of love with York racecoarse.

certainly is a free carpark.

even foot visitors (bus, taxi etc) pay £6.50 admission at the gate.

if it wasn't for Anna,s constant harassment I wouldnt be going either.

well what can i say......

around 4" of snow where it hadn't been trampled in the great rush to get indoors.

maybe 200 vans on display and very few salesmen to be found.
maybe 20 exhibitors in the main exhibition halls including the usual craft stalls, Roadpro and Lilipad leisure

maybe 750 to 1000 folks crammed in the main hall as it was snowing a blizzard and only a few polar explorers outside.

most exhibitors were the smaller, generally unheard of convertors with the likes of Romahome and lowhams to keep them company.

instead of going to this show i should have spent the fuel cost on going to the pub tonight.

.wont be going again anytime soon.
