Does anyone have an Abus 4010 lock they don't want? They were especially used in old Hymers, but no longer are made. See below for a picture of the inside bit.

I just need the inside bit with the turn handle, nothing else.

There are one or two ebay.de, only available for delivery in Germany, but just wondered if anyone had one in the UK. I need to replace one which got broken by our garage :Angry: Sadly none of their modern ones are of the same dimensions.

Cheers

Isn't this the same basic unit?

OK the link won't work because it is to the shop run by the owner of the 'Darkside' but they stock them.

Also worth contacting Harrison Locks - they fitted a set of Abus locks to my Hymer a few years ago.

Thanks for that, was looking for something a bit cheaper  than "Our Price: £134.99 Incl. VAT"

Cheers

Try Harrison (see above) - they are very helpful and because they are genuine locksmiths, may know how to fix your existing lock.

Well of course, you do get what you pay for in this life don't you? And not without reason were Abus always considered top of the range by your average insurance company Theft Surveyor.

Is the door - and the frame - of similar quality though? :roflmto:
