I have only read reports of it being unveiled this year and those reports seem to be based on patents that Apple have applied for containing the word "wrist".

I love watches but I can't see me getting one.

Well they wont be able to call it Iwatch in Belgium.

The name is from a company dealing in vidio on demand.

But then again its apple and only apple law counts:Doh:

If Apples recent history is anything to go by it will do everything, control your phone via blue tooth, manage the play lists on your iPhone and iPod. Integrate with iCloud and allow you to manage your calendar etc. It will be a fantastic looking bit of kit that is well engineered.

Unfortunately it will cost ÂŁ600 and won't be able to tell the time.
The . the clocks change.
You won't be able to replace the batteries yourself so will need to upgrade to the iWatch 2 in 2-3 years or pay another ÂŁ150 to get the battery replaced, this will require sending the watch off and not having one for 5 days.

I could go on but you get the idea....

The real question is the value of TTBOD.

Time To Back Of Drawer.

Anything comfortably wearable on the wrist is just too small to perform anything beyond trivial tasks. Especially with Olde Fartes who can't read it anyway.

I know, let it tell the time and diary reminders.

Now where have I heard that before ???????

Oh yes, Casio Data Watch, about 20 years ago. If I had a mind to I'd look in the back of the drawer for it. God knows what I'd find next to it. An Amstrad PDA perhaps. Numerous credit card sized micro tablets.

What's in the back of your drawers ?
