Still learning since 2010
Get yourself up to Tan Hill and see if they will let you park there for the night. Proper old fashioned pub. Nowt like it looks in a certain double glazing advert :winky:

camp site

Try Bainbridge Ings at Hawes. It's a camp site/sheep farm with lovely views and fragrant air. Janet will give you a warm welcome.

The old station yard in Masham itself is a great site and only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. I see that it opened on March 1.

We missed old station I just looked on net would gave enjoyed it
We made a right cock up in masham could not get parked up nowhere it was chockablock so after a hour running round we ended up going up into hawes and had great weekend stayed at green dragon at 16 quid I though it was expensive and no electric but a nice place and only one open most others we tried are not open till April but as always plans change so make the most of it
A good first week end away
Masham is back on but going to tug trike with us next time

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
You should have stayed on the cattle ground in Hawes.
Theres a honesty box by the back of the loos and tyre wash dipper thing.
Elsan , water, hard standing. What more do you want ?
Plus , pubs that let your dogs in , and sell real ale in Hawes :thumb:
We are often only the only ones on there , though we do go with various rallies. (You have to be a member of the ccc or mccc though.)
