Hi and welcome..

as the Danfoss is a 5 day programmable room thermostat, it would be installed in place of the your existing room thermostat.

if you have not already seen it, Danfoss info here

Hi and welcome to the Fun. :welcome:

I don't know about the actual wiring but I had the same programmer fitted to the same Alde boiler by Graham Cutmore (UK Number 1 Alde man). The thermostat on the Alde control panel had to be turned to maximum and then the Danfoss programmer would override it. Hope this helps.

I have an upgrade planned this year wherebye I am going to have my "on" "off" heating controller on my van changed to what they are fitting on later Burstner vans. Namely the "bells and whistles" digital controller. This will enable me to programme when the heating comes on and off when the van is laid up.

Graham Cutmore comes highly recommended. He is not aware of my custom yet

Maz who is Graham Cutmore when he's washed and ready for bed?

Dai has provided a link below. Graham Cutmore is based in Wellingborough but does travel. He knows everything there is to know about Alde boilers and then some. He's also a very nice man.
