glad to hear the good report of Old Oaks site simi,
its on our list to visit in the future.

We will be staying at Moor View near Modbury soon. Its another of the tranquill sites, that will be 4 of the adult only sites we've used and have been happy with all of them.

Cheers

thanks, Simi, for posting the Old Oaks link. we've come here for a couple of nights after the Bath Half Marathan (Sun 3 Mar) when we stayed at Bath Marina.
you're right it's a brilliant site, wonderful location, so quiet and beautiful scenery. bit of a hike into Glastonbury (not far but lots of ups and downs!). woken up today to sun and birdsong - and a heavy frost. magical::bigsmile:
incidentally, for us oldies, there's even an oap discount so that can't be bad can it?::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

Oi ..... I'm often one of those weird people at Glastonbury!!! There is another site that Nannyjan and I stayed at but can't remember the name . It is at the base of the Tor. If you take the main hill out of Glastonbury it is about a mile on the right hand side.

We couldn't afford £17 a night, but this one was much cheaper and still within walking distance of both the town and the Tor summit.
