So was I . I was thinking it would never pull it out.

Impressed the RV kept running too.

I did something similar in the office Peugeot 306 diesel a good few years back and it blew the engine up. Something to do with the air filter apparentlly.

Yup... If the air intake drops under water it will suck the wet stuff in to the engine and destroy it ( water does not compress !! Bent and broken con rods and all manor of associated damage ! )

Oops.

Funniest thing is I left the car and went to a shop and bought some WD 40 thinking that would do the trick. When I got back the AA recovery man was there and p*ssed himself laughing:roflmto:
