Thanks Steve, very useful.

THIS LINK may be helpful to see how the showground lies in relation to the A1, A17 and A46 - it is centred on Red Gate. Just click on the dark overlay to get rid of it to see the aerial shot properly.

Thanks for that info Steve, very useful. :thumb: Do you have any idea as to where the showground entrance is, is it off the main road or in Drove Lane.

Hi Brian,

I've got the entrance via the RED gate on my ticket.

I guess the entry is on Drove Lane.

Just copied this from the Top Link.

"Access can be from the A46, but the ideal approach is from the A17, which allows a longer build of traffic onto the 20 acre South-Eastern runway. "

Cheers Steve, guess we will follow others and join the queue.

With so many Funsters attending perhaps we should have our own exclusive entrance. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It'll be yours won't it Dane? Don't I remember you saying you were providing the beer? ::bigsmile:

Did I say that? Don't sound like me at all, or did I have a senior moment
