Hello, have never put up our residence room on omnistor awning, anyone here at Marjal that has experience or anyone with advice please. Looks a bit complicated on the videos and also have to replace an awning arm first.

Go find someone who has one already up, smile nice and wave a bottle of plonk..
Explain, silly British "no understand how to put up" sure they would be wiling to help and you'll have a new friend on the campsite,,::bigsmile:
Look for a Dutchman, they love to get involved and they do speak English...:thumb:

Yeh, watch out for wind. Every day about 14:00 the big wind arrived. Funster had awning out but sides loose. 6 of us hung on to it for grim death and minimised the damage. He then put it away sharpish.

So make sure you knock every nail you own deep into the ground, which is not that solid unfortunately.

They are quite easy to erect and very, very stable.
The trick is to slide the side walls into the side rafters before you put them up.
I assume you have already fitted the plastic locator fitments on the leading edge and the awning box. If not you'll need a drill! :RollEyes:
