Back now from Castleton we had a great time. Thanks for all your advise.
We would like to go and climb Snowdon, can any one recommend a CC or CAC site nearby.

The Forest Holidays site at Beddgelert is within walking distance.

We stayed there a couple of years ago, it has it's own narrow-gauge railway station too. you can take the train to Carmarthen, amongst other places!:thumb:
