Hi guys, I have just recieved the V5C for my new Autotrail on a Fiat 3000ltr engine, and as recommended on previous threads on here I checked all the details, weight, name etc. My question is how or where does it tell you that it is a Euro V engine? Or does it not state it. Any info appreciated.

It's not stated on a V5..

As a backup have just checked my V5 as I have a 2012 Euro5 Autotrail as well but a 2.3ltr, definatly not on there.
You should have other paperwork that does state it, like a certificate of conformity. This, you may need when getting stickers for low emmision zones etc..

My understanding (which may or may not not be correct!) is that Euro V was introduced with the 2013 model range. If that is correct, then the new Ducato dashboard is an indication that the engine is Euro V.

Your right on the dashboard.
But it's the 2012 range not 2013.. They came available late 2011..
The newer models have a Black dashboard and are classed as X251 versions.

My mistake, I meant to say 2012 models which were introduced in late 2011. The dash design changed at that time to the new one. I very nearly bought an Autosleeper Windrush which was introduced for the 2012 range but decided against when I found that it was the first one that they had converted which was on a 2011 base and therefore a Euro IV. (They were using it as a Press Vehicle but valuing it as a 2012 model). The clue was the "old" dash which was confirmed as correct by the dealer concerned.

After I posted I thought that was the case on the 2012/2013 thing..
Yep people need to watch as I have read on forums of people taking delivery of 2012 vans expecting them to be Euro5 and getting Euro4..
