Hmm,

Where do I start.

Trying soooooo hard to make it to Newark.

Moved the RV off the drive to cut down a tree.:ROFLMAO:

Noticed a pool of water underneath and on further inspection it transpires that when the recovery firm brought the RV back when it broke a propshaft Yoke, they damaged the BLACK water tank.

Now it looks like I've got to replace the tank.....Nooo chance within 2 weeks ...... or repair it.

Replaced all the dashboard today after checking and sorting the wiring and all working great now.::bigsmile:

Why do I have to do this the Hard way?

What a bummer. :Sad::Eeek:

Presumably there's no chance of doing a temporary repair with epoxy or whatever adhesive works for that type of plastic? CAK Tanks may have a few ideas.
Link Removed.
Might be worth a call. :thumb:

Hope you get sorted.

Good show. Will fibre glass adhere to the kind of plastic the tank is made from?
Assuming it's made from plastic of course

I'm going to try Fibre glassing it next weekend.

 I was going to suggest that. But you beat me to it. I knew as soon as I saw the Black Sunday headline it MUST have something to do with the Black Tank. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Go for it Steve. You KNOW you can do it. :winky:

Morning Steve,

S**t happens in more ways than one........... insurance claim?

Without teaching you to suck eggs............ when you go to glass up the repair, get a piece of turkey foil or some other material and lay the glass matting on that, then apply the resin.

You can then lift the matting up into place on top of the foil and put it into place without the matting coming off and sticking to your fingers.

Good luck

Peter.
