I only have one remote key for my Fiat x250 based motorhome, does anyone know if you can get them from anywhere other than Fiat? Also there are second hand jobbies on fleabay and I'm wonder if I can get one re-programmed for my vehicle.

We all live in hope.

 My Peugeot one was quoted from £120 to £250 .... so best to really really shop around. Are you near Liverpool at all soon? My daughter got one for £50 from someone there and if it within your reach I will try and track her down to get the phone number and see if he can help. .... but not sure if he would do it by post.

The van is programmed to the key rather than the other way round, but should be quite possible to set up a second key if you can find one that isn't an arm & leg. Main dealer will probably have to do it though, not a DIY job.

When we bought out Burstner it had only one ignition/door key (pre X250 model). Camper NE arranged for an extra one but we had to take the van to the local Fiat truck place to have it programmed. Cost about £200 (which Camper NE paid).

Dane, give my brother a ring, and tell him I said you will get a discount. :winky::roflmto:

He does mail order, all the garages in this area use him.

Hope to catch up soon. :thumb: Bob.

Hi That looks a useful contact, I will have to contact them once I am back in the UK as I lost a set of keys in Austria on the way south.
