Err, silly question I know but what does AVB mean?

Hi there.

I am afraid AVB is a footy reference.

It stands for Andre Villas Boas the new Spurs Portuguese manager.

FBP on the other hand is a gourmet reference.

It stands for Fray Bentos Pie. The succulent pie you can keep in your motorhome cupboard. No need to use the fridge.

I prefer mash to chips and beans to mushy peas with my FBSAAP...

but then I have always been a health conscious eater...

I stopped putting a little sugar on my fried bread months ago.

hi yes recycle the tins .they make lovely yorkshire pudding tins . mmmm
and after you have eaten the contents you can recycle it as pebbles in the garden or nice manure . or womanure. ha ha .
jj you can part boil the spuds then slice and just a quick shallow fry they can still be healthy .
but as for beans i do like the cross n blackwell ones .but only buy when its less than a quid for 4 tins . then stock up .
bit like the pies only buy when they are a quid . cant be bad for a quid .
