Whenever this question is asked you get the same response - lots of people say they are rubbish and lots say they are fine. For me I've used them for getting on for 30 years on caravans and the motorhome, before digital and after the changeover and find them OK but as with even satellites systems, they are no good if parked amongst trees, you need a clear run to the transmitter.

About the best of the non directional aerials available. Good construction and very durable

However, it IS omni-directional and in weak signal areas cannot perform as well as a directional unit..
Of the Status aerials, I would be inclined to go for the 550 or similar

3years ago.. It was cheap and all I could afford at the time.. It has been absolutely stonking and has never failed to get decent signals...

Mine works fine after Dixon tightened a connection, but then only this week it came out of its socket on top and was hanging by its wire down the side of the van.. That isn't something I realised I had to keep an eye on. . but I will from now on.
