A recent reply in another thread by Hilldweller has me wondering. "Stand on the roof" he says. Is it really possible?

I'd like to go up to repair the spoiler in from of my heki.

Hi
I have been up on two of my roofs one of which was a coach built Bessaccar, when I had a solar panel fitted there was 2 of them up there, just stay away from being too near the Heiki edge or other lights, and also it depends on how old your van is re fatigue, but having said that if mine wants cleaning I get up and watch where I stand. Sorry, I don't understand the question.

But if you mean the Heki, it's Dometic Heki 2 and the skylight spoiler 1100mm needs refixing.

Can not see a problem going on the roof, a lot of vans have ladders on the back to get up there. OH often goes on the top of our Hymer to give it a clean. Also at race meetings seen people on top of there's watching the raceing.

What is the make of the motorhome
--the year-
-and the model,
we can probably deduct from that how your roof may be constucted
