When I was in Lyme Regis a few weeks ago, Adrian Gray was doing his stone balancing art on the beach (I think he lives in the area). You might have seen him on programmes like Country Tracks.

For someone like me, who has difficulty standing on one leg (or taking photos that are in focus or with a straight horizon, looking at these shots) it was really impressive. He'd place the stone on top, hold it for what seemed like 20-30 seconds to get the centre of gravity right (or whatever) and then just step away...

One of them did fall over a few minutes after he went and sat down....maybe he hadn't applied enough? ::bigsmile:

You've got to admit, from the pictures, where they join, it looks like a bit of glue would stop the top one sliding. He'd still have to be bang on with the balance.
