Hye Ive been looking for a 12v TV with Sat built in but not going to pay for Avtex. The `Cello traveller looks resonable but has any one got a view

Don't know anything about them but this is the second time I've seen the name and looked at the web site.

First problem, for me, is Made in UK. I just don't believe the UK can do this. Certainly we can't make the display. We could make the boards but they would be so expensive no-one would buy them. No, I'm sure in my mind that it's "assembled in UK from the usual Chinese parts".

Second problem, no hint of an address. "Assembled in NE England". Why the secrecy ?

I stumbled across a review of one model that was quite critical.

But they claim to make own brand sets for M&S, if so maybe they are good.

As mentioned above, Kogan, all I can say is I've owned one a year and the picture is so sharp you could cut yourself on it.

Looks like they have just moved from North Yorkshire to Bishop Auckland, County Durham, investing £1 million

£1M is peanuts compared to the far east producers but excellent that it's happening here. We need more firms like this.

That video does show assembly rather than manufacture.

Had a Cello 19" for a year now. Problem soon after purchase - collected, fixed and returned inside a week - picture excellent - can be viewed from any angle - would buy a Cello again:thumb:

I believe Cello is a make that the Co-op sell. A pretty good company to deal with if purchase made from them. My daughters LCD tv by them must be about 5 years old now. Nice TV :) Jane
