Just wondering what you find to do on a wet day in a motorhome and do you enjoy it.

We have been touring around North Wales for the past Three weeks had a great time and some good weather........but we are still away thankfully on electric £40 For 5 nights.

Now it has been persisting down for the past 48 hours and more to come, are we fed up, not a bit of it, Kindle to catch up on time to play with the lap top and not feel I should be doing anything else (have you seen the Jug puppies on google) ooh cute.

The weather is not cold so a walk is on the cards. What do you do in the rain and do you enjoy it.

It sounds as though we do similar things. I love reading so I use the kindle. I use the laptop providing I can get a connection and play on line scrabble, do crosswords, catch up on news, emails etc . I also catch up on the jobs in the motorhome that I never do when the weather is fine. Clearing cupboards out, rearranging storage. Its amazing what we collect.

Play Scrabble, drink red wine, play cards, red wine, watch the news, more red wine, eat things that make us fat(ter) which we call "comfort food", drink other stuff (run out of wine), and the wierdest thing of all .............. we talk to each other :Eeek:.

Have thought about doing a bit of sorting out, but not yet ::bigsmile: I find that reading fun in the morning is a bit like reading my local newspaper, worry about Dellwood & Barbara with all this rain in their area, then Amberkate traveling down from Scotland, have had a look at Jim's thread about Eddie Vanblitz offer and ponder on should we. It's a brilliant motorhome community we have here when used as it can be.

Just thinking of making a coffee, talk of going to the swimming pool maybe maybe not, rain (but not when flooding) can give you a different experience but not necessarily a bad one.

Now maybe I shall sort some photo's out from the last few weeks.

We are sitting here suffering rain at the moment. Barbara is watching the TV & I am on the computer. Rosie is looking wistfully out of the window, wondering when I am going to take her for a walk.
Luckily the pitter patter of rain is on the roof of the bay window & not on the roof of the motorhome

Just returned from Lincoln yesterday so intended doing a bit of food shopping today.

"Do we really have to go out?"
"There's some stewing steak in the freezer, some sticks of celery and carrots in the fridge and a couple of onions left"
"Great - into the slow cooker with it"

Make some cobblers later on and it'll be just the job for a wet Tuesday :thumb:
