Some nice shots, How you find the sigma lenses on the 550d ?? I just bought a tamron 18 - 275 for multi purpose use and find it a bit softer than my canon 70 - 300 With a 400 max you will get some great close ups, will have a look at your website

i find it ok i was told by a couple of mates that the50/500 at 500 was a bit soft that is why i went for the 120/400 all the above were taken at 400 and as you can see not soft at all all are hand held

how long you had the lens Gaz, i sent mine to sigma UK with my 600d and had it calibrated to the camera, free of charge as still in warranty, took a couple of weeks but absolutely pleased with the results
