What sort of dosage

About a capful, that way a bottle (99p-£1.60) lasts a month with emptying every day, which I do especially when hot and if there is an emptying point of course. The stuff is dirt cheap so prefer to empty the cassette before it gets heavy.

Hi Steve,
We asked about this recently as well, here's the link for you below. We got some Tesco concentrated biological liquid recently £1.60 for a litre

This sounds great if it works.
Is it allowed in Chemical Toilet Disposal on campsites?

absolutely no problem, as it all goes down the same pipe as the site washing machine ultimately

Over a year ago and you have not had to buy another bottle.

Now that definitely is value for money. :thumb:

New Aldi opening near us on thusday, right opposite Sainsbury's. Opening day offer of a free TV for the first 100 customers. Think we will give it a miss, will be chaos.
Can't see Sainbury's competing.

just out of interest - loo chemical hard to come by here in Croatia - none of the campsites seem to stock it. Anyway a full timingchap next door has just found some in a B&Q type shop called BAUHMAX if anyone is looking to get some.

Haven't looked yet but I bet Quality save/Aldi do a cheap version!

Don't know about here but Lidl & Aldi in Spain & Portugal don't seem to do Bio stuff

There has been a long discussion on the motorhome list and many on there are using Formil tablets from Lidl and seem happy with the results, and they are cheap as chips. :winky:

an occassional capful of the same scented bio in the top tank does well and keeps the bowl clean and fresh

Many if not most motorhomes flush from the main water tank so no additives possible.

I have heard some MH's put softener in the header flush tank if you have one, and many MH's do, our RV was the only one that didn't, the other 4 all have had flush tanks.

It has been said, don't put the pink stuff in the top tank if you are using a Bio in the cassette it stops the Bio working.
