On Saturday we head from Hull to Zeebruger then on to the Dusseldorf Salon for three days viewing. Have any funsters travelled there as any tips for route etc would be appreciated. We already have our member cards, entry tickets and zone sticker so it's anything general that may be of help.
Thanks in advance.

The route is pretty straight forward and one I've done many times.

Antwerp, Eindhoven, Monchen Gladbach, Dusseldorf.

Antwerp can be a bit hairy, but if you follow your Sat Nav you'll be OK.

I would say that Antwerp is slightly more difficult on the return journey, as you have to move from right to left as all the motorways meet. But again, if you closely follow your Sat Nav. you should be OK.

Hi Wiljoy,
Having visited Dusseldorf a number of times, I would like to pass on a small warning where one or two of our friends have came unstuck.
As you approach Dusseldorf from the East as soon as you see the 'Banner' signs for the 'Messe' be aware, its a very quick tight turn right, off one motorway then within a few yards. sharp left on to the second motorway.
Keep your speed down and be aware.
As you arrive at the Messa, if you need water and dump station stay in the left hand lane, there may be a slight hold-up. I would not advise arriving on Fri. or Sat, that is when all the German vans arrive. The first time we went on a Friday, we ended up in 'Field' 28, miles away from the services.
One other tip, your entrance ticket is also a free ride on the Train which will take you into Dusseldorf, well worth a visit. Have a great time, its a real experience. Best Regards, Mac

Many, many thanks for your information which appears to be very useful. We arrive late on Sunday so hopefully the rush will have subsided a little.
Give our best to Redcar, beautiful part of the North East.
