We are just starting to plan for France and Italy next possibly June or Sept.
We do want sort of amble down through France and take in the Italian lakes. Time factor not really important. We have seen threads about requirements for different types of MH going into France and Italy which sounds rather complicated. We have an Eldiss Autoquest 165 about 23ft.
If anyone can offer suggestions as to route, stops etc We did think that up to 150 miles from stop to stop might be best for us but flexible. Have been looking at the DFDS route to Calais or Dunkirk.
Big ask I know but any info would be a help.

DFDS Dover to Dunkirk is the cheapest ferry ! Get the "All the Aires" book from Vicarious books (Google it ) and start planning a route using the book ! In November I am off to the South and I always stop off in either aires or just a car park ! The ferry fare is £29 booked through the Caravan Club !:Cool::Cool:

Just search on ITALY or GARDA. ( Top of screen under the FUN banner )

All the routes and tips you'll ever need.

It's a fine plan, both times good, less crowded, cheaper, cooler.

Planning a year ahead :Eeek::Eeek::Eeek: I think I'm organised if I plan the night before, usually its half an hour ahead

Silly thing to do but I keep doing it. Months and months of planning and expectations then BLINK and it's all over.

Much to be said for, "I'm fed up, let's got to..............".

In computers, long term planning is "what's for lunch ?".
