Hi All,

Help needed please.
Whilst on a site in Salamanca we noticed a German couple cooking with an electric frying pan outside the caravan. He had the frying pan plugged in to his hook up plug which looked like a two way one with his mains going in and his frying pan coming out of the bottom of said connector.

Anyone have any idea where I can get one of these type of connectors.

Thanks in advance
Steve

If this is what you mean, I've only ever seen them for sale in German Camping Stores.

Which is where I got mine about 5 years ago.

Hi Steve
We bought a connector in France, I took off the original end of my cable where it fits to the van, and re fitted the new one there is a flap on the front , inside it has a continental socket , so I fitted a local 2 pin to the end of my extension lead, which has a 3 pin on the other end for our plug top,s sorry I can,t upload a pic. Peter

Ps I have heard them called piggy backs.looking at the post by Picky Peter that's the one

Why not just run a short standard 13 amp extension lead out of the window? I'm sure everyone carries one:RollEyes:

This is what I do, and the extn lead 3mts not coiled is protected by the trips on the main fuseboard inside the Motorhome.
