You better be quick..... as off tomorrow you have to buy Tetley Tea......

http://www.tesco.com/groceries/ProductBuylist/default.aspx?id=L00006433&icid=Petrol50poff_Nav_All

By the way the Nescafe at £7 a jar was way overpriced..... it's £5 a jar in Asda.

I looked at the Tesco offer but even with the savings on the fuel, Nescafe still tastes disgusting.....:RollEyes:

The offer finishing today is a good one - we did our shopping yesterday and now have the vouchers for 50p off a litre of fuel. Just need to empty the tank in the van during the next couple of weeks, and then fill up. :thumb:

Thanks for the link to the new offer. By the way, there's no need to pay over the odds on your shopping at Tesco - just enter your receipt details into their 'Price Promise' webpage, in order to obtain any refund due compared to shopping at Asda, Sainsburys or Morrisons.

Thanks for putting this on the forum.

Have just been on to Tesco website, and it says -' Validity period is printed on the Fuel Coupon'.

Any idea what the period is, only we filled the van up today (blast!!), but are going away a fair bit in August.

Cheers Di

The normal fuel 5p off tokens normally last about 2 weeks so would assume its the same just buy 1 item to start with and see the date on it

Probably a stupid question but do you need to put each item through on it's own and get 5 10p off vouchers or can you put it all through as one transaction and get a 50p off voucher ?

Thanks:thumb:

Put everything through together, then the machine spits out however many 10p-off coupons you've qualified for. Then you can use up to 5 x 10p-off (=50p) at a time when you fill up. But only valid 14 days from date of issue.

Gerry how do you pay £21:50 for 5 boxes of tea bags when they are £3:00 a pack times five = £15:00p.

If you look again at the offer you have to buy 2 packs of tea bags for £6 total 10 bags £30, if you use the tea bags then it is still a bargain:thumb::thumb::thumb:

According to the Tesco website it says:

Buy one Tetley Tea 160s and save 10p per litre

http://www.tesco.com/groceries/ProductBuylist/default.aspx?id=L00006433&icid=Petrol50poff_Nav_All

However, there appears to be an ERROR on the website, because when you click through to the terms and conditions, it does indeed say:

Buy 2 packs for £6 and get 10p off per litre

http://www.tesco.com/groceries/zones/default.aspx?name=petrol-promotion&icid=mktmsg

Suggest you print a copy of the first web page that clearly states "Buy one..." and take it to the customer service desk and ask for your 10p-off coupon. :thumb:

Unfortunately, we don't drink tea.

As Mikebeaches says the wevsites say buy one packet of 160 teabags to get 10p off petrol it says £4.30 x 5 but iit looks like both of us cant read i missed the price drop and you missed the t &c that say buy 2 packs, but thanks for pointing out my mistake i will now need to recalculate how many t breaks i will need to use all my tea bags :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

poor tesco customer services

Just been to tesco to get the buy one bag tetley tea bags for 10p off fuel with my web print out in hand only to be told I needed to buy 2 bags, they weren't interested in what it said on the internet, so I tried phoning customer services, same reaction, so today when I looked they had changed their web page.
So I have emailed Philip Clarke their ceo to complain. Don't expect a reply, but if I do get one I will post it on here.:Angry::Angry:

They corrected and updated their web page a few days ago.

If you had requested the offer when the web page still showed one pack, you may have had a chance.
You could have shown them in store what the offer was showing on the net using your smartphone or tablet.

They would have probably honoured that, but as the web page had been corrected by the time you went to the store, you do not have much of a case.

Did you also let the CEO know his staff made an error and gave you £60 of vouchers instead of £50...:RollEyes:

I did inform the store about the extra £10 off but they said it was too late to do anything about it.
