I Keep getting e-mails from Conrad Electronics offering Waeco self fit cruise controls, Sounds a bit iffy to me fitting your own ,as anyone been brave enough?
Prices start at £19.99 ! to about £100 for the waeco:Eeek:

there is only one on their website....the Waeco MS50 at €159 plus another €59.95 for the steering column controller.

all the others are for radio controlled model cars. :Doh:

would you buy from someone who specialises in model car electronics :Eeek:...i certainly wouldnt.

Not sure what website you're looking at PJ, I can see several options for CC on their website:

The £20 unit is not a cruise control but a throttle lock. When you engage it it locks the throttle in position and won't compensate for speed variation, on pressing the brake pedal a solenoid releases the throttle cable.

The next one up is the MS50 which is a proper cruise control but a pretty basic one, the column stalk is not compatible with this unit and it comes with the two tone grey dash mount control module.

There are more robust cruise systems on there but with no pictures and to be honest their pricing is not that spectacular.

since 2007, 25 years tuggin before that.
Fitted the MS50 to both my last 'van & to this one, both work perfectly.
Easy to fit too.
