I'm a newbie
Evening all, while at the Vintage Motor Cycle Club Festival at Mallory we met Carol who told us about this site and gave me a domo on her PC. Thanks Carol, hope you managed to get off the site ok!

My names Steve and my wiife is Anita. We have just purchased a 20yr old Hymer 544 with a 2.5 turbo citron engine (the cylinder head went on the very first journey) which is currently being rebuilt by a local garage.

We aim to go off around the UK country this year whilst getting used to using the camper and sorting out the problems we have inherited. We then are hopefully going abroad next year.

Hope to meet some of you over the comming years

 Steve

She can Pull 'em that Carol........reckon she's on Commission from Jim, you know how he slings his money around..

:welcomefunster: Knapp. They are mostly nutters on here so it was poor advice from Carol You'd be much better off joining one of the 23'9" RV clubs that MUST exist.

Looking
Hello

Hi all,
This is us saying hello, Peter and Margaret. At the moment we do not have a van, but I have long wanted a Mazda Bongo.
Retirement looms’ in the next 18 months, with it plenty of time to visit it the places, here and in Europe, which we have heard
about and seen in magazines. We also want to follow some of the Tour de France, we fell like kids waiting for Christmas.
As we start to look for our ideal van we hope that we will be able to pick the brains of you motorhomers.

Hope to talk soon,

Peter and Margaret

sorry

Think I replied to your thread instead of starting my own. East Devon is lovely though.

What part of East Devon?

Upottery/Yarcombe border on the A30/303 junction we have a small traditional cottage standing in a 3 acre garden overlooking Upottery. Been in the area some 23 yrs and love it.

Welcome to East Devon
