Hi all,

I have been ecperiencing problems with the fridge, workls fine on 12v & 240v, was not igniting on gas, but having brushed off the burner it will ignite but ceases to work after about 5 minutes. I noticed when removing the fridge and exterior vents, that there is evidence of carbon/burning on the vent itself and on the top of silver insulat 'thing'. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?. I only have limited DIY experience so if you think you know what the problem is and how to solve it - please explain in a simple non tewchnical way.

Thanks in anticipation.

many many years! since I was a kid
the thermocouple has burnt out in the flame, which is very common. simple enough fix though. take fridge out, unscrew burner and thermocouple holder, unclip the tube up to the top, unbolt from control and replace
