I bought my Autocruise Starfire (2000) last September after selling my motorbike and deciding it would be more practical and 'sensible' at my age . I knew absolutely nothing about motorhomes (although had a caravan for a while when I was married) and learnt basic stuff by reading, asking questions and trial and error! But there's still a mind boggling amount to learn! I would love to be able to wild camp and have read loads of posts on here already and I'm looking forward to reading and learning loads more, although I'll never be able to do any DIY repairs or mods myself. I really love my van but do still miss my bike

What a mistake to make.

Oh boy are you in the wrong place, we don't do sensible here. Live dangerously, die young is the motto. Most of us have failed miserably but we keep trying.
