Hi,

I have just been quoted a price of £499.00 fitted. Is this about right? Any outfits you would recommend and why please?

Thanks

That's ok. We had a quote for a Witter towbar for our Elddis of £800, and that was without electrics :Eeek:
We went elsewhere.

all depends on whats involved as the canbus bypass box and electrics can cost up to £100.
the towbar its self will be around £200-£300 then there is the labour costs and if your van has no chassis at the back then extensions have to be fabricated and fitted to suit so its a bit of a ballpark but anywhere between £350 - £7-800 seems to be the norm.

Same van as I have and the price you quote is the cheapest I have found. They are plug and play with all the electrics already in place.

The only thing I haven't liked about the price of those you quote is the long bar at the back of the van.

Hi,

I got a price this morning from Essanjay of Poole who quoted me £520 inc VAT for fitting a PWS towbar and single electrics to my Lunar Roadstar 780.

This is very reasonable as they charged me about the same 5 years ago for fitting a similar system to our previous vehicle.

So £490 sounds about correct.

You wont go far wrong with these people or PWS either, we use them !
