Booking with the C and CC club. Is it me? (1 Viewer)

Ok, I've gone through it 3 times and it doesn't make sense to me.

I choose a pitch at £5.76 per person per night--based on 2 sharing (no idea what difference that makes--it's not a hotel)
I put in 1 person over 55 ( me, the only person)

I get charged £11.53 per night, less member discount, less solo person discount--and I still pay £80.70 for 7 nights.

I make £5.76 x 7 = £40.32 plus £4 weekend charge (not mentioned before in my booking) £44.32. So where does £80.70 come from?

I thought price advertised was what you paid (I didn't think you just thought of another figure--any figure)

Now gone to bottom of page and it is £60.10==with no explanation why. Have I fallen into a parallel universe?????

If i remember correctly you pay per adult and pitch eg: £5.00 + £3.00

I can't see any explanation of pitch plus person--it just gives a price per pitch per person for 2 people.
Their numbers are all 0845 which won't work through French bundled phones. Aaaaggghhhhh.

Thanks so much for that. It's a pain when there's not a regular landline number. To call an 0800 number I have to call one number, get through to that, then put in the 0800 to get through....

dont forget the footprint you need, if you van is (as mine is) say 7.33mt x2.3mts pluse a day tent 3mtsX3mts, the you need to enter

lenth= 7.33mts
width= (2.3+3+ a bit extra) 5.5mts

or you could end up with a pitch only big enought for the van and no side space!
