Similar have been around a while, a landrover supplier was selling them a few years ago, they are used in Oz i believ, as an emergency start in remote areas.

They were on sale in Peterborough for around the same money. Someone asked the same question in one of the recent generator threads, not sure if anyone answered.

This is a (probably inferior) copy of the famous Chris Green generator. How can they call it a suitcase generator, its nothing like a suitcase :Angry:.

could have been worse....they could have called it a 'silent' generator.
the only time it would be silent is when its not running.

It looks a neat bit of kit but Chris made his with a bigger alternator (more amps) and for about £50 all in

If I was going to spend that sort of money....I think I would go for a small Honda ..perhaps second hand........more flexibility.and not much bigger.

But as I have 2 large batteries and solar power.......I'll give them both a miss
