We are going to France in the summer and are looking for some sites along the Normandy coast or just inland. Not too big but dog friendly and accept well behaved children/teens. Any advice would be great, thanks.

there are a lot of sites in that area check out the links below to give you some idea, both links have all sorts of sites on and give a discount out of peak season, which im afraid doesnt apply to july and august. The second link on both are sites in lower normandy - just to give you some idea

Just spent over a week along the coast and war beaches, plenty of room in the c/sites and aires, as provided above. Just don't go in June, it's packed, for obvious reasons. If you can stretch over into Brittany make for St Malo always worth a visit.:shout:

I thoroughly recommend the camp site below - we went a couple of years ago and booked a delux pitch.

Kawan Village Le Cormoran

Situation :

Sea (sand beach)
Number of pitches and size : total no. of pitches (all categ.) 256
number of touring pitches 106
pitch size from 90 m² to 150 m²
13 deluxe pitches of 120 m² with supplement (10A, water, used water drainage)
24 motor home-only pitches
Taxes : tourist tax (>5 years old)
Misc :
pets allowed, max. 1, except for category 1 and 2, on leash, with vaccination papers, dog showers

Within easy drive of the 'beaches' museums etc.

Hope this helps
