Kev,

Anything else just shout,
Cheers

wont you want the bits to put back later if you sell the van on? even if you leave the safew in situ new owners might want the bits?

why not use velco to use them to cover the safe front?

How is it fixed in place Paul?

I needed to be cunning to out do any scum that might find it so..........

Take the seat out after carefully marking where it would sit and checking no underbody pipes/hoses etc. Then drill down from the top two say 12mm ish holes and the same through the safe floor.
Then pass two 12mm bolts up from outside into the safe so the threads are visible and cut them down to as short as possible but allowing for two nuts. Then tighten the first nut tight then lock the second nut against the first so if they try to undue from underneath they have no chance. Even trying to undue from the inside its impossible as its a two man two spanner job.

If you see my photo i did all that but mis measured a bit so thought easier to cut the safe down a little. Space is tight and the safe door just opens so check check and check again but is a right pro job even though i say so myself.

If more pictures are needed just ask away.

Cheers
