Yes, it's my birthday today, my wife has had a migraine for the last two days, and been in bed for the most of it, so today, I helped my daughter to steam clean her drive, covered in Ertha Kitt, I had to have a mega shower, get changed, etc. and thought, mmmmmmm, it's my birthday, I will have a Ruby, a bit of a treat.
The Indian was packed, so I knew it would be a long wait, cares not a jot, pub across the street, back and forth, and the wait was about an hour! By now i'm feeling a bit Oliver Twist, after four pints!
Back home (walking) had the Ruby (madras) and boy was it hot! A few glasses of wine, and now my 'arris is bubbling like a slow cooker, wish me good luck for the next few hours! .................................................

I had a seat belt fitted to the downstairs toilet when we renovated the place. Good thinking eh?

Does everyone accept that you can't beat a good curry?

I had my first in Swansea with my Dad in about 1975 and have been hooked since.

It's now my restaurant meal of choice except when I am abroad.

If you had to go into hospital, and the doctor said,

"well, we are going to burn your mouth, and throat, give you belly grumbles, and the sorest jacksie you have ever had, followed by the Ertha Kitts for a day or two, you would want a second opinion, or be ringing lawyers for you!

Yet we call it a good night out!

Are we mad!!!!!!!!!!............oooooops! .....................back in a mo...........................

Craig,

When I was in University I had to go into hospital for a nose operation.

In those days you went in the night before for them to check you over and then I was told nil by mouth after 11 pm for something like a 9am op.

My mates picked me up and we went for a curry and a few beers - back by 11pm.

Still feel sorry for the surgeon and nurses::bigsmile:

It was still nil by mouth at about 5 pm the following day when my dear Mum pitched up with 4 crusty cheese rolls.

Which I proceeded to scoff under the covers::bigsmile:
