I live in Attleborough and my MOT is due soon.Can anyone recommend somewhere to get this done or should I just use the main VOSA test station.
Im new to the area so I dont want to get caught by some cowboys.

Hi, we use these: http://www.cowhams.co.uk/ In fact our vans in at the moment having the brakes and air con done, very good to deal with and will lend you a car I believe, but we always drop off as its just up the road for us. Bob.

Desira Group do motorhomes, I know the one in Diss does, and I think the one in Norwich might.

I take mine to the Forestry Commission MOT Station in Santon Downham, they are very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

As RonnieJ says, the Forestry is the place.

Make sure you approach Santon Downham from the Brandon road, the Mundford bridge has a low weight restriction.

Hi, I used to be an MOT tester at a garage in Horstead near Coltishall, don't know if that's too far for you, they can do any M/H, but not tag axles or the largest hymers, any coachbuilt will fit on their Class 7 ramp, They also do servicing and mechanical repairs as well, honest prices, no work done unless authorised first, also quotes given in advance where possible. 01603 737190.
Also in the Norwich area is Whiteley caravan services, a good place to get Habitation checks and repairs done independantly,new and used parts available, Robin has been in the trade many years,01603 488884. Hope this helps.

Just a quick update,it seems that the Forestry Com. have stopped doing MOT`s as from March this year.

Update; I found Simmonds Coaches of Diss on the VOSA web site and found that using them was a good experience.I was given the choice of waiting in the reception area or going into the workshop whilst the MOT was carried out,which is what I like.They were friendly ,helpfull,polite and cheap.

For anyone else that might need mot's on large motorhomes in the Norwich area that would normally need to go to a vosa testing station, I just had my 7.5 ton Iveco done at the Norse place up on Fifers lane in Norwich

very efficient and good service, they normally do buses and coaches etc but also horse boxes and motorhomes that other testing stations can't fit in etc. They do only do the testing as they have no workshop facilities
