Thetford not flushing (1 Viewer)

My recently acquired motorhome has a Thetford C2 electric flush toilet in it but the flush has never worked. On dismantling it all, I trace 12v all the way to the 12v flush pump but it does not pump. Would that indicate the pump is dead or is there something I am missing? I am assuming that having removed the pump, if I put 12v across the terminals of the pump it should work.

Have you checked the fuse?

There should be a fuse located just inside the door which you open to remove the cassette.

Yep, checked and it's ok.

Yes if you put 12v across the terminals of the pump it should operate,
if not its kaput.

Removed pump and connected 12v up to it and nothing.

replacement pump now on order.
