I have some brilliant pegs, knocked in with a 2kg hammer will go into nearly anything. Bought army surplus at War&Peace show at the Hop Farm Kent (Near Slobbadobbabob), but I havent seen them anywhere else. They are all welded steel, no plastic bits.

I use these . Cheap as chips and do the job. I also have the screw in type, put as said you need to take drill (bit of a faff)

Depends on how hard the hard standing is..

but 6inch nails and a 2lb lump hammer usually do the job.. cheap as chips..

Couldn't agree more. Add a box large washers and you have pegs a plenty for all uses and very cheap.
