It cost me £93.88 Trade / Retail
Plugs £6 / £11.52
HT leads £25.31 / £29.48
Fuel filter £1 / £1.99
Oil filter £2 / £6.07
Air filter £6.50 / £11.44
Distributor cap £4.34 / £5.86
Rotor arm £2.73 / £3.69
5 litres of semisynthetic oil £ 7 / £22.53
and i even bought myself timing light to tune her up with! £25 / £46.98

+ 17.5 % VAT £93.88 / £139.56

This shows the difference between the trade and retail price i paid for my parts at Partco a well known parts supplier to the motor trade!
I know most people use a mechanic but if your handy with a spanner you can use their trade counter and save a lot of cash!
They also have a very good returns policy so if you don't need it they will give you a refund!

I will give you a trade tip though!
When you ask for your parts ask them for price and availability!
Its a bit of mechanic lingo and sometimes they knock a bit more off the price for you!

Hope this helps!

Also tell them that you have 10 of these to service and if all goes well with this one there will be a lot more business and so you want areally keen price!

Regards Pat
Honestly you don't need to!
I have bought my parts from them since i left the trade and even when i thought kwik fit were cheaper for an exhaust for my car Kwik fit quoted £87 and partco quoted £17 + Vat!
They are part of Unipart who used to be British Leyland many moons ago but they are very good!
Its not very often i would recommened a company but these guys are special and they are nationwide!
