Getting van ready for trip tomorrow, tried to open gas bottle door
and key will start to turn a fraction then sticks any help would be
welcome. ta.:Sad:

Flush it with masses of WD40, wriggle key at same time. But be gentle.

Graphite it the proper long term lubricant though.

Do you have anything else inside the locker such as hook up lead or similar? If so, not unusual for something to fall against the door inside and stop the latch coming up.

If just semi seized, them just soak in weasel and try then. Pushing the door inwards as you do will release pressure on the latch and may help.

A couple years ago we arrived at a site in the middle of Tours in France... Sue went to the rear high locker and this has two keys.. the top one opened but the bottom one would not.... cut a long story short.... an electrical cable had been pushed and and when we left the other site in the morning it dropped down and james behind the lock... hell to get it open, had to in effect jemmy the RV.. sorted it out.. after I made a box from an plasterboard electric plug back and glued it round the lock.. stops it happening now.. but you do need to be aware this can happen. No fun to sort out, especially on a site and being unable to put the EHU on until I broke in to my own RV.
