Small price to pay for stopping somewhere where you are welcome, wont be disturbed and from my understanding a very nice location.

See you there soon. :thumb:

Absolutely. But no doubt there will be some who whinge about actually having to pay instead of being subsidised by somebody else.

The car park is open for cars to park so I think some disturbance is inevitable.

BTW if you use 2 spaces you pay £8.60 during the day +£5.00 for the night.

A great proposal - I wonder if the site has waste disposal for black and grey waste? Certainly on a par with French aires if they do.

wont make any difference to me if its limited to two bays per motorhome...unless the bays are end to end.

I could just about get front and rear wheels in two parallel car bays but the rear overhang will need another bay and some

CC&C site near Oswestry......£8 - 50 per night ..includes wi-fi !

IF it had the same facilities as an aire, then yes !!! Otherwise no..It's just a car park open 24 hours !

£8.50 per night, per person plus £3.75 pitch fee
puts a slightly different slant on it.

Have they marked out bigger bays? If not only the smallest motorhomes are going to fit in one bay, so its actually £13.60 for 24 hours.

No whinge

Absolutely. But no doubt there will be some who whinge about actually having to pay instead of being subsidised by somebody else.

I like to park without paying but I think this charge is ok.

If I am able to park in a town or village without charge as in most of the rest of Europe I have more coffees in local cafes - I eat more meals in local restaurants - buy bread, meat and veg in local shops and yes drink more beer/wine in local bars.

If I have to pay high prices to stay on commercial sites I will be more likely to shop at supermarkets and live in the van.

I have a finite disposable income and would prefer to dispose of it to the benefit of any local economy rather than big bussiness

That's ok Salopian, no need to apologise, you,ve explained your costing quite clearly, travelling solo, age concession and low season, hardly an average example to present to other funsters as a price comparison
