Hi John, Trent generators were taken over by Planetgenerators......a fun member but no posts/threads since 2010.

i believe Planetgen folded as a company according to a past thread on here by the joint owner, Martin, so you may have trouble locating genuine spares.

not sure but i think Trent basically rebadged other makes under licence, so it could be a clarke or maybe a kipor

Thanks John.
It's identical in appearance to the Clarke ones.
The pull string got busted, replaced it, but now looks like I need a new recoil assembly.
Local lawnmower centre may be able to help.

As the chap that supplies the man that sells loads at the shows, I feel qualified to talk about this, hi by the way my name is Simon Jones. [HI]To those that know me (Eddie Vanbitz's son!)[/HI]
Stephill are good, but very expensive when they go wrong.
Kipor are good but unreliable in the long run.
As an alternative why not look at a Planet? 2 year Warranty. Beaten only by Hondas 5 year warranty.
Simon

the old grey cells still work ... :roflmto:
